      • School Admissions Statement

      Our school has a ‘Referral and induction procedure ‘which explains the process of pupil admissions and support with transitions.

      Pupil admissions to La Passerelle follow a referral through specific criteria.

      Prior to agreement of placement to La Passerelle, the Senior Leadership Team will check the following

      • Placement availability
      • The needs of the placement can be met by the school without detriment to the Health and Safety to the SEMH needs of the other pupils.
      • Financial resources will enable La Passerelle to implement the RON recommendations (where applicable)
      • Parents and carers will agree to our policies to safeguard pupils and maintain a safe environment for our students and staff.
      • Visit from La Passerelle to host school to discuss next steps or a support plan
      • Pupils, parents, and carers voice are included and fully agree for La Passerelle to be named on the RON for admission if they have a RON.
      • 6-12 week assessment period which may lead to reintegration to a mainstream school – this may be their original school. Therefore, links need to be maintained.
      • Parents, carers, and transitioning schools must adhere to La Passerelle transition arrangements to secure a successful transition.
